StrataCore Earns Mammoth's First Golden Tusk Award

Mammoth Networks has presented StrataCore with its first Golden Tusk Award for being Mammoth's top-producing telecommunications agent in the Pacific Northwest for 2013. StrataCore has earned this distinction for a third straight year, prompting Mammoth to develop an award centered around StrataCore's consistent performance. StrataCore earns this distinction the same month they are celebrating their ten year anniversary.

StrataCore has successfully promoted Mammoth's unique approach to Wide Area Network connectivity in the Northwest, engineering solutions for healthcare, data center fiber connectivity and private WAN. The most recent opportunity involved a 35 location multi-site enterprise network, which Mammoth delivered using a combination of dark fiber, cable company fiber and telco switched services.

StrataCore has also worked with Mammoth this year on opportunities in the financial sector, and Mammoth has enabled StrataCore to develop new opportunities with small cable operators and independent phone companies using Mammoth's wavelength portfolio.

"Very few providers can offer as much flexibility and creativity, while still having the capacity to deliver results on time," offered Josh Gay, Senior Strategic Account Manager at StrataCore. "Mammoth's ability to deliver solutions to those hard-to-reach locations in unequaled."

StrataCore has built a reputation for securing data infrastructure for their clients, walking the client through the pricing and contracting process, and ultimately saving their clients the time and risk associated with learning the telecom and data world environment. StrataCore's clients can focus on their businesses as a result.

"StrataCore gets us. There aren't a lot of companies that understand the benefit we are providing in the telecom marketplace, but StrataCore understands," said Mammoth's CEO, Brian Worthen.

Worthen explained that Mammoth's network-agnostic approach to telecom is a little-known niche in the marketplace. Because Mammoth looks at serving a client building by building, they arrive at a one hundred percent solution for the client. When StrataCore is procuring network for a client, the network they turn to is one that reaches all of their client's locations.

"Large, nationwide fiber providers look at their fiber and how close they are to each customer location," stated Worthen. "As a result, these larger providers present the enterprise customer with a partial solution, often proud they reached eighty percent of the customer sites. The enterprise customer is left wanting for the last few sites, and forced to shop those services on their own."
